As well as Lafarge Malayan Cement, CIMA and Tasek, plants are also operated by local producers, namely YTL Cement, Pahang Cement, Perak-Hanjoong Cement, Aalborg Portland Malaysia and CMS. The Aalborg site, which has operated since the mid 1980s, is notable for being the only white cement plant in Malaysia.
